Just noticed my speedometer stop working, is it a sensor or cable. If it's a sensor where would it be located...Thanks

Usually vehicle speed sensor/VSS is kaput. Located above right axel at engine beside oil filter , below alternator. Real bioch to get at.
Get at rockauto for $78.

Mine was broke. (Ya I thought it was the VSS too ) There are litle plastic gears inside and mine crunched and broke. New cluster was only $25 on ebay. Removal time is at least 2 hours. There are 7/8 socket screws holding the trim. ** 1 screw under each speaker cover needs removal to pop the dash up. After that disconnect main pwr, and it drops out. The pwr cable can be bish to get off, but persevere. Reinstall is reverse.

Good luck
