I have been doing my homework on alcohol/water injection and I noticed that there are kits designed just for the WRX and STi, so I am assuming that these are a popular modifacation. Does anyone here have any experence good or bad with one of these kits? They seem like such a cheap effective way to up your boost.

Do you understand how the system works?

Yes I have studied the system for quite some time now, I have just never had a turbocharged car to use it in. Almost everything that I have read about it from reliable sources is good, the only downside is that it does absorb some of the heat from your combustion chamber during combustion, so it "steals" a few hp, but in return is cools the hotspots and allows you to use about 10 extra psi of boost on pump gas if setup properly. I have no doubt as to its effectivness as an anti-detonent my concern is if there are any side-effects that I have not considerd.
