I have a 99 Ram 4x4 with a 318. The problem is tranny will hold 2nd gear up 3500rpms under nomal acceleration. Also during normal acceleration it will sound as if it's slipping between 2nd and 3rd give it a little gas or let off the gas it will go into gear. Lastly when your going 60mph or so and let of the gas the tranny will downshift to 3rd , I think. It started doing this before I changed the filter and fluid and of course it is still there. Any help?

Try adding 12-24 oz of the red Lucas Trans Fix. NAPA has it. Do not overfill.

Did you adjust the bands at the oil change?
