my 350

hey guys
while my heads are in the shop i thought i would give you
the run down on my engine,to hear your ideas!

1973 4 bolt main 010 block .060 over and o ringed
eagle h beam rods stock throw
eagle crank
je blower pistons 8.5 cr
world product sportsman heads 64 c.c 200 cc intake
the heads are getting a 3 angle valve job, decked
and the seats cut for larger springs
the cam is a comp cam .487/.501 lift 230/244 at .050 113 C.L
this is the cam the machinest recemened
with a weiand 6-71 supercharger and two 650 double pumpers
the machinest said i would make around 750 hp
and a th350 tranny going into a 1981 Z28
what to you guys think???

sounds like your motor is going to be pretty hot good luck. oh and if you don't like the cam u got try a comp cams nitrous cam they do really good with blowers.

just a question, you sed its a 6-71 blower? im confused can somebody fill me in on the numbers? i thought the numbers were (#cylinders-Combustion chamber volume) like 8-64? is it some other deal or something?

as of right now the z is sitting in my driveway waiting to slide
into the garage. I'am the fourth owner as per carfax. I bought the
Z-28 in 2003 with a blown engine (as in dead) the car is white with blue
stripes and dark blue interor i replaced the front sub frame, engine
and tranny in one shot. I wish i had a digi camera back then

i bought the new th-350 from summit racing and has held up great
now with the blower motor i will swap the th350 for a th400
i have a 10 bolt rear with 4.11's in but i am going to put 355's or
373s in

I have a 671 on an 86 z-28 w/ a 383 stroker. Rolller cam, 010 block,o-ringed, blueprinted on a v-30 rmc cnc machining center. When you get yours done HOLD ONE!! Check out www.performancecncblocks.com. You can't beat his prices or quality of work. I'll post a picture as soon as I figure out how.

wow, that thing is bad, but with t-tops, i would reinforce the frame if you did not do it already.
