Angry 2002 sunfire GT 2.4 no headlights

I just recently had a bad front wiring harness on my 2002 sunfire gt 2.4. After I replaced the bad wire and reinstalled the harness, I had headlights, but the turn signal lights on the dash were always on. The next day I was driving home from work and I had no low/high beams and the DRL were on only (even with headlight switch on). The turn signals were acting funny, but then finally just stopped working. I tested the wiring harness for shorts and good continuity to the connector in the engine compartment. I have replaced all lights also. Any suggestions?

check, double check, triple check grounds. it could be your turn signal switch too.

I also checked the multi-fuction switch.

I checked all the grounds and all leads for all the lights for a short to ground. Still nothing.

Took it to a good friend that is an automotive specialist and one of the Chasis grounds were not good enough. He ohmed out every wire and finally just on a whim he added a body or chasis ground to the battery and fixed it for now. Now I have a check engine light and I believe it is probably a EVAP problem. Going to have it scaned this weekend to find out and fix the final problem!!

Did you figure out what the issue was with the headlights? Having the same issue right now. Headlights are barely on. Battery and alternator tested fine.

Any help is appreciate!

First it was the faulty front wiring harness and then they added a body ground in front. I still have a check engine light for an EVAP problem that I have to check into. I have a feeling it is a grounding problem also.
