2 inch lift on 98 2 Door

I want to give my 2 Door a little lift so I can fit some 33's on without any worry about rubbing. Ive heard of cranking up the torsion bars and even replacing the keys, but also heard that this can cause problems. Is it safe to crank up the torsion bars? How much lift can I expect? Are there any other options?

Thanks
