87 Camry, Brake LightsJorgeNeeds2Know 12-17-2005, 07:59 PM I am trying to restore an 87 Camry. I have come upon the problem with it's brake lights. The rear and front lights work, but the brake lights do not. I have found out that its not the stop switch. A mechanic told me that it might be the stop relay/fuse but I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone help me???PLEASE??? augie7071 12-18-2005, 12:11 PM should be under left or right kick panel. by your foot. Mike Gerber 12-18-2005, 04:50 PM It could also be a break in the wiring inside the trunk, by the driver's side hinge. Open the loom there and look for broken or frayed wires. This is a common problem area on all Camrys. The wires break from all the flexing they go through when the trunk is opened or closed. Good luck.
