I am trying to restore an 87 Camry. I have come upon the problem with it's brake lights. The rear and front lights work, but the brake lights do not. I have found out that its not the stop switch. A mechanic told me that it might be the stop relay/fuse but I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone help me???PLEASE???
It could also be a break in the wiring inside the trunk, by the driver's side hinge. Open the loom there and look for broken or frayed wires. This is a common problem area on all Camrys. The wires break from all the flexing they go through when the trunk is opened or closed.
