Mitsubishi have suspended participation in the WRC from 2006. :eek: Didn't see that coming. Yup, only two full time works teams next year. :( Peugeot, Citroen, Skoda and now Mitsubishi gone in one foul swoop.

On a bright note that will mean Subaru or Ford will be a shoe in for the Manufacturers championship next year. Unless the whole show is cancelled due to lack of interest. :mad:

Mitsubishi are in the process of doing some financial 're-aligning', to do so, they need to suspend their motorsports commitments for the most part, this means they only keep the Raid team alive for the next year and suspend all other teams competing internationally.
