Can side airbags be installed on a car after it has already been manufactured? I just bought a 2004 Corolla and would like to have these installed. I know you can buy a Corolla with them, but mine doesn't have them. Anyone know anything about this?

Practicaly No.


If its a big concern then you would find it easier and cheaper to simply buy another Corrola with the side airbags, and sell your old one.

or find a 2004 carrola which has been wrecked and the side airbags didnt deploy.
