My boss says he needs a "passenger computer box" for his 89 ?Grand? Cherokee. He says the dealer wants $500. Thats all I know. He asked me if I could find anything. Anyone know where I could get one? Thanks

Find out for sure what the YEAR, MODEL and engine size is, and try to get the serial number from the computer (it will help alot, but not necessar) and post them on here and we wil help.

Yeah, I didn't think it was a grand, so I asked him to make sure but he said yes. I'll ask him tomorrow at work and verify it all.

Apparently it's his daughers, and oddly she was there at the time. Hmm, she says it's a Pioneer, v6. Apparently the computer controls the transmission -- "I want to sell it, but nobody would buy it with the transmission acting the way it does". They'll just give me the computer so I can see it to get the #, since it's not plugged in. But right now, thats all I know.
