ive got a 93 GC 5.2L auto trans and 4wd. sometimes when i start the car the rpm's will soar and then idle irradically. so i turn it off and the rpms will climb to about 2000 and idle smooth just under 1 grand. it may take 2 or 3 tries to get it to start "right". any suggestions?

thanks for the link. so you think the throttle body may be dirty? i was kinda leanin toward a malfunctioning computer myself. hope it is a dirty throttle body. anyway, ill be workin with it really soon. i appreciate your input.
