Driver error (i.e. speed) is the most likely cause of rolling over in corners. Short of being hit by another driver that causes you to roll (which is totally out of your control) the best thing you can do is realize (and respest the fact) that SUV's handle much differently than cars that have much lower center of gravities. That being said the easiest and cheapest thing you can do is slow down in corners. I've been driving SUV's for 20 years and I've never had a problem with them being tippy.
Stiffer springs and shocks will help reduce the feeling of body roll which all SUV's experience to some degree in corners depending on speed. A lowering kit will drop the center of gravity a bit which will reduce the possibility of rollover only slightly. I've only seen them for 2X4's although someone may make something for 4X4's. Wider tires and wheels that stick out beyond the fenders may also help but all these are expensive alternatives to just slowing down. Hope this helps with any worries you have about your Jeep. Drive safe and buckle up everyone.

Im not sure who it is off hand but there is a company that makes street performance parts for Grand Cherokees. They are aimed at the street racer bunch. They make lower springs and stiffer antisway bars.
With that said, I happen to agree with Swanny. Grand cherokees handle well for an SUV as they are.
The obvious answer to how to keep your wife from rolling it is to keep her from driving it. Even with the addition of stiffer bars, lower spring or wider low profile tires, its still an SUV and will still roll over easier than most cars.
My guess is that she isnt that bad of a driver, shes probably just used to something that sits lower and the Grand Cherokee just feels really tippy to her because shes not used to it. Grands are not that unstable. Under most circumstances theyll loose traction before flipping over, unless they hit a curb or something.

You can roll ANY car/truck made no matter how low you set it! Don't drive like a maniac and you will be fine. Owned a 95 seville with suspension control. set very low but got it up on two wheels for the hell of it. Was told by caddy dealer it was impossible.

yea jeeperphil is right.

I know jeeps used to have a serious rumor of rolling over, but believe they are very stable, My bro in law has a dodge raider and I drove that once up to the mountains and I remeber this one corner I took I felt like it was going to roll. Well shortly after that I got my jeep and I have been to the mountains many times and the same bend always worried me but my ZJ handled it like a a champ, never felt even a bit tippy.
