Custom exhaust... I need?sparq 06-02-2002, 09:12 PM a cat and a muffler ... and the shop will do up the custom piping correct? igo4bmx 06-02-2002, 10:09 PM Originally posted by sparq a cat and a muffler ... and the shop will do up the custom piping correct? you sound like yoda.... anyways of course its possible... you can even get the not so famous angled muffler. 3SGTE 06-02-2002, 10:50 PM Actually I was just reading about custom exhausts in one of my old SCC's today. Just have to go to a shop where they use madrel bending, and if you want to be "quiet" then you have to run a resonator or 2. Not running one will make sensitive alarms go off (friend has a cuztom setup). If you like it loud forgo the resonators, and if you don't then it is a must. And you must use madrel bends. Good Luck Maurice sparq 06-02-2002, 11:11 PM Yes I know I must get "mandrel" bends and I know about the resonator... hmmm, angled muffler -- im thinking NO! :flipa: Any idea what it costs to get it put on? CivSiGuy 06-02-2002, 11:15 PM ~$200 nijia555 06-02-2002, 11:23 PM well i see you have a sedan so i am going to give you the key. um go to jdmhondaparts.com and get an es oval and custom piping with resonator. its straight through so you get pretty good performance with out the n1 look or sound, oh and you dont have to worry about every1 and their mom in a neon trying to rev on you because it looks stock. enjoy :) sparq 06-03-2002, 01:37 AM Originally posted by nijia555 oh and you dont have to worry about every1 and their mom in a neon trying to rev on you because it looks stock. enjoy :) Ummm, everyone and their mom wont be revving on me anyways :flipa: nw h-town 06-03-2002, 08:35 AM Originally posted by sparq Any idea what it costs to get it put on? Buddy of mine payed $140 for the install, and then of course the price of his muffler (around $100). Just some normal muffler shop. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
