shaft that connects ignition switch to ignition tumbler

I am in need of the the shaft that connects the ignition switch to the ignition key tumbler. The dealer is telling me that the shaft is not available alone. Can anyone help?

That`s true! Try to find used one on an import car junkyard.

Thanks daniel 61. I am in that process right. The OE part is very cheaply constructed. Come on, the thing is made of pot metal. Of course it is going to break. Thanks again.
