Neutral Safety switch/ Back up Light switch

I have a 1992 Chevy S10 Blazer, 6 cyl, 4.3L, 73,000 miles. Reverse lights do not work, but connections, fuses, wiring all work. Trying to Use a repair manual to get to the neutral safety switch but it is a joke. Anyone know a simple way about getting to this, or where i can find a diagram ?
Thanks

Pretty simple, it's the u shaped part at the bottom of the steering shaft.
