DTC1351 Shudder/stutter under accel

Stutter/shudder under load/acceleration for past 6-8months.
(no DTC nor SES light).

Yesterday, truck acted like it was out of gas and then quit completely and would not restart (and SES was lit).
No code reader available, so manual troubleshooting.
Fuel delivery fine, fuel filter fine.
Signals (control pulses) to coil not correct coming from Ignition Control Module (ICM).

At parts store : Infinite resistance (open) across signal terminals on Ignition Control Module (ICM) as compared to some number of KOhms across a known good (new) ICM.

Got the code reader and read DTC 1351 (Ignition Voltage High)
with the "old" ICM.
This to me was confirmation of failed ICM (burnt open?).
Replaced ICM reset DTC / SES, now truck runs again and the good news...

the stutter/shudder is gone !!!

FYI
4.3LV6, '99 Silverado, new body style, automatic 2wd, 160K
