Re: power windows??????

If you hear it clicking it is not the fuse. Pull the panel and see if the cable is bound or jumped the track.

Re: Re: power windows??????

I have the same problem. It started struggling to go up and down and then quit working. 2003 Silverado 2500HD, passenger front window. Is this hard to replace, dealer wanted like $400 bucks, but after I said no, it worked fine for about 3 weeks and then had trouble again and now quit while about 4 inches down. Glad its not currently raining.

Do I need to replace the motor assembly?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: power windows??????

Easy fix once you get the door panel off. Buy a new or rebuild window motor/regulator of ebay or where ever and replace. I think there or 4 bolts inside hold the frame to the window. Remove, pull out old reg and add new one. One of my easiest fixes yet. don't for get to tape window up in place.
