Question Autometer steering column gauge pod

Does anyone have the steering column gauge pod for a trans temp gauge or any gauge on an 01 Silverado? Was wondering if it blocks any of the factory instrument panel? It looks like it may block the odometer. Thanks!

Re: Autometer steering column gauge pod

Do you have the overhead small console with just lights and opening? If so get a socaldiesel gauge pod that fits in it. Hope that helps you....

Those are some pretty sweet gauges but, I use my overhead bin to store things sometimes.

In regards to the original question I believe SlowProcess has a mount right on the top of his Steering Column. I believe it's a Tach but, I can't remember... Maybe PM him and see if he likes his or not... Somewhere in this forum I think is a picture of it. I remember seeing it about 6 months back...

Here's a pic of mine when I had the flame gauges installed. The tach is a cyberdyne digital.

You can't see the pod in this pic, but this is where I had my other gauges mounted.
