Lumina Rim offset

I was wondering if anyone knows allowable wheel rim offset of oh, say a 1995- 2001 lumina. I bought brand new impala rims, they bolted straight up, but hit the calipers in the front. I dont want to use spacers, and I want it the be about the exact same as the factory steel ones on the there right now. I know I can take a wheel off and measure, but that only tells me what those are, I want to know what I have to play with. I just thought I'd check into the issue a little more instead of just assuming that if the bolts line up, it fits. Thankyou.

Re: Lumina Rim offset

Measure your back space by laying a yardstick across the back of the wheel and then measure from the yardstick to the wheel mounting flange, this is your back space. Use this to compare your prospective choices.
