Hi

Does anyone know how to remove the door handle from a 230 ce 123?

I've removed the doortrim card,the 3 screws retaining the handle but the handle is connected to the door latch by a rod which wo'nt release the handle when pulling the handle away from the door

the reason for removing it is to repair or replace the lock barrel
