Duel Cannon

I was at the shop and my car was on the hoist getting the starter replaced and i was looking under my car and i have a 93 cavalier v6 z24 running straight pipe no cat to a Vibrant cannon muffler 2.5 inlet 4" outlet and i'm thinking about placing a Y pipe after my test pipe (old cat place) and splitting my exaust and running 2 Vibrant cannon mufflers infrount of the rear tire wheel well right were the Z24 sign is and i was going to cut a hole were the mufflers come threw the side skirts some of my worrie is the clearance because one pipe will be bent around the gas tank and then angled down some then bent up and the vibrant muffler will be placed the same on the other side of my car. any help/opinion would be greatful thank's

Um...exhaust piping is hot...it melts plastic. Keep it away from your ground effects.

Re: Duel Cannon

Well, I already have a sound system but i like how my exhaust sounds too so.. this is why i'm going to run my exhaust like this... and as for the hot mufflers melting the ground effects i'm going the have heat shield's placed above them..
