Numbers match

I have a 57 chevy Bel air and would like to know how to tell if it is a numbers match car. It has vin #vc57b172760 and the engine #T0930D I know the trans is a 350 or so I was told, but I also got another trans with the car that is susposed to be a powerglide. Would really appreciate any help.

Re: Numbers match

V8 Belair car built in Baltimore. Engine code does not look right unless it was a very late build, D is a 58 code. Usual code for a four barrel automatic was F. Original Powerglide is a cast iron case, mounts on front/side of bellhousing for engine mounts. Not mounted on tailshaft. Don't know that you can actully date the trans except for month and day.
T0930D Towanda build, September 30. D= 1958 model year.
