Re: I hate stanza's
well, it could be that he swapped out the engine with a 240sx ka24de 16valve engine with ECU and performance parts. Possible turbo? Maybe the cars he raced are just insanely slow. I remember my stock 91 Stanza could rip tires in the first three gears.

noise in 90 nissan stanza
hello every
I have a 1990 nissan stanza but it is giving me some problems, in february of this year I had replaced the tensioner, it ran pretty fine until i had a mechanic screw up my distributor, but my regular mechanic fixed it. I drove all the way from NC to NJ with no problems until the night i went to move my car and when i started it up it started making a noise. the noise. it makes a loud noise when i start the car up in the morning for about 4secs then it gets a little silent but you could still hear the noise it makes. does anyone know what the problem is. and if it is serious, i have been driving it like this for about 7 weeks. is that dangerous?

Stanza's are underestimated
This for the gentlemen who had such nice things to say about Stanza's. When we first bought our 90 Stanza I was really surprised at how nice the car ran. The torque in the first three gears is unreal, and driving her on the interstate I was simply surprised at how the car moved along nicely and gave a good smooth ride. Besides these qualities you can catch rubber very well in the lower gears, the engine that Nissan put in this car is great. Even in its stock form the engine performs for you and gives the Hondas out there a hard road and will not make it easy for them. As far as I am concerned Hondas are overated, I speak from my own driving experenice with car. Our Stanza now has over 250,000 miles on it. The car is using alot oil now and more gas to do the same things it took less to do. We are going to have the engine overhauled, the car repainted, upgrade to disc brakes on the rear wheels, new ignition system and other items to bring her upto speed. This Stanza may not be a Acura, or Honda, but I would much rather have our Stanza over any of these car on any given day. When Nissan built this car, they really got it right on this car, and I really like the lines of our car. She has been great to my family and taken us eveywhere we needed to go.

stanzas did have alotta torque, and i've never driven one new.....but i only dream of it. some assholes dont understand the stanzas not coming back. go suck a fat honda dick. and for that guy with car sounds it's your engine, does it tick, it's getting old.....nothing to worry about. thay have special shit you can put in your oil. unless it's your exhaust well i dunno
im pretty sure the sr20de i not bolt on, infact im pretty positive. let's not even get models mixed up i dont know, i onlty hope it's easier than impossible.....i love my stanza that much
