Question 89 Chevy Suburban

My 89 Chevy suburban will not start. I do not have spark at the plugs. I have spark from the coil. I need help!

try getting new spark plug wires.

NO, I would say that the electronic ignition module inside the distributor cap is bad. Parts stores can test these, it's worth a shot.

If you have spark at the coil but not the wires, then the rotor and/or cap is bad.

I've replaced the cap but it did not help. I bought a coil to replace the oild one but have not installed it yet. If it works/or not, I'll let you know. Thank you for your help.

pull your distributer making note of its placement and have your local parts store test it to check the pickup coil. also it couldent hurt to change plugs wires and cap/rotor
