seating capacity

hey guys
i know the newer style 4runners (from the 1990's and forward) have room for 5 people, but did the pre 1990s 4runners have that second row of seats? or if they didn't, does anybody know of a place where you could get some aftermarket seats to put in the back?
thanks,
scott

I beleive they all did. At least all the ones I've seen. But some are not a split bench type, just a single bench, half folding design. The seating capacity should be the same. All pre 1990 4Runners were 2 door, so 3 people getting in and out of the back wont be a whole lot of fun. 2 people in the back would be more comfortable.
