I've been looking around and not finding much... I have an 06 Silverado Lt, extended cab, rwd, 5.3, with that towing package. I have a superchips tune and K&N intake on it. I took the muffler off the other day, just for kicks, and it seemed like it helped with power and acceleration quite a bit, so I figure it's time for an exhaust. Anyone know who's making one for an 06 so far? And I'm new here, so hello everybody...

Just take it to the exhaust shop and get the muffler(s) and they'll bend all the pipes for it. It's way cheaper than buying a kit.

I'd get the cat-back kit. if anything you will get a higher quality system thats better than anything a muffler shop will ever fabricate.

try magnaflow, they are real good for trucks.

Get magnaflow. Best performance and good sound. Sometimes i wish it was a little bit louder tho.

I went to a muffler shop and had a magnaflow muffler put on for 260$. Gave me quite a bit of HP gain. A cat-back kit would've probably given me more HP but it wouldve cost me 950$ and thats something that i didnt have at the time.

Thanks for the help so far, but I kinda know some good brands, it's just that I can't find anyone that makes an exhaust for a 2006 model yet...

Nothingns changed for 2006 so anyting made for 1999 to 2005 silvys will fit a 2006.

I kinda thought that may be the case, I just didn't want to be wrong you know... if there's anymore advice I'd love to hear it, if not, thanks for the help guys...
