My New Black/Red Tails

OK, so here is my latest tail-light design. I sorta borrowed the design from VW. The top portion is painted with Model Master Clear Transparant Black Window Tint spray #2949. The bottom half is the same ol Testors Transparant Candy Apple Red. They look real nice at night and the amber bulbs for the turn signals show up real well through the tint. Also the reverse light looks pretty good too. I may have to redo them, cause the paint bubbled a little bit here and there, but overall they came out pretty good, I think. Let me know what you think. Any recomendations will be considered. Thanks.

Dude I think the tails look good. I think they would only look good on a black car though. I am painting my car S2000 Silver that would not look good on my car.

Well not a new one, yet. I have to get the dash fixed first, cause a head unit doesn't really fit in there all too well. I have an old Sony cd head unit in there, kinda jerry-rigged. It works for now. Let me know if you fix your trunk.

i hear there are little rubber pieces on the trunk lid that can be adjusted to change the fitment onto the body of the car.. look for it on the underside of the trunk lid...

Looks nice. I like the tails, it's original and clean. Plus those rims are pretty tight too.

Just my two pennies: scrap the pinstripe and stickers and paint your rear drum red to match the tails.
