Bad ignition lock cylinder?

I've been having trouble with my gauges, power windows, fog lamps, and HVAC going out almost randomly when driving, or not coming on when the car is started. I replaced the BCM, but this did nothing. I took the radio out to check the ignition cylinder. If I push on the back of the cylinder, everything comes back on. Is there any way to get into the cylinder to clean contacts or tighten anything up? Or can I replace the whole thing on my own using the existing key core, or would a GM dealer be needed to rekey the cylinder and reset the passlock system? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The cylinder is not your problem.
Sounds like your ignition switch has some connection issues.
You could try to disassemble it and clean the contacts or you could replace it.

Thanks, GMMerlin. I disassembled the whole thing, cleaned the 5 contacts, and now everything is working perfectly.
