To me that is one of the most assinine locations to put the power steering resivoir. When I wanted to check my power steering fluid level one day, I hunted high and low for it as I'm used to it being mounted on the front of the engine (Old School Chevy V8 guy

) I finally found it "tucked away" on the passenger side by the firewall. I had to rig a funnel with a piece of tubing to be able to add any fluid . More proof that they are making it harder for the average vehicle owner to do simple maintenance on their vehicles. I would have preferred a remote resivoir similar to the overflow tank for the radiator or windshield washer fluid, that is more accesible, ( and of course, smaller

)
