beautiful 79 SC

a friend of mine is selling a beautiful 79 sc, although i dont know too much about its mecanical and comfort options, i do know that it is very well taken care of. the paint is original and nearly perfect. from what i know is that it also is a very mechanically sound car. very well taken care of. not shure on the mialage exactly but the $13,500 asking price sounds pretty good to me from what ive seen. what is there to look out for in an SC? i know in my 924S there are some belt and water pump issues to allways be watched and made shure there is nothing wrong with them. i know the SC is air cooled so there isint any water pump, but there are week points to every motor that need to be watched over and i would like to know what too look for on this car. if by some miracle i can get a loan for the money, i need to know if this is a good buy or not. thanks, ive noticed porsche owners are a particularly helpfull and much more tightly-knit bunch then any other owners ive talked to. very proud to call myself an owner, even if it is a water pumper, im in love and would like to expand my collection and add to my 2 924S', by complimenting them with a 911.
