03 Cavalier LS won't startdobermankid 11-10-2005, 07:37 PM My Cavalier won't start. When I try to start it, it sounds like it wants to start, but then it stalls. I think its something with the fuel line or filter. I looked at the air filter and its clean. It has 46,000 miles on it and hasn't had a tune up yet. However, I have been taking care of it. Any suggestions please? PsychoJJ 11-10-2005, 08:13 PM I would say to redo your fuel filter, spark plugs and air filter. Should run like a champ after that. My 04 is up to almost 50 and I had alot of stalling out problems and did those three things and its like new again. colinlesser 11-10-2005, 08:15 PM i thought you have a 03 pshyco PsychoJJ 11-10-2005, 08:19 PM Nope, shes an 04. My dealer no longer recognizes it as such but it still is. colinlesser 11-10-2005, 08:20 PM go to the painting interior questions and check out what im doin to my 04 PsychoJJ 11-10-2005, 08:34 PM Already seen it. Thats all basic stuff. Looks is on hold though for me. colinlesser 11-10-2005, 08:41 PM whys that? colinlesser 11-10-2005, 08:42 PM your at 50k? shit im not even at 20k yet PsychoJJ 11-10-2005, 09:20 PM Because if you stick mine next to what it used to be it looks nothing like it. I run a construction company so I do alot of driving all over the state. I drive well over 150+ miles a day. colinlesser 11-10-2005, 10:39 PM well at least your doing it in style, got any parts you can sell? PsychoJJ 11-10-2005, 10:48 PM Nope, all I ever have left is stock stuff Ive replaced and being in a car club people tend to snatch even that stuff up rather quick. Never used to be too into the whole club thing but being part of a j-body club has worked out for the better as far as parts and help goes doing projects and such.
