I was thinking about getting some solid motor mounts for my 05 srt and I just wanted to know if they really stop the wheel hop like they say they do.

I have a 99 neon and I put in the polyurthane inserts and my car dont do it at all. When I shift he pulls straight threw the shift.

hey thanks guys for the info. I plan on lowering the car bout an inch up front and one and a half out back so i dont think the vibrations will affect n e thing

make sure you replace your tranny mount as well. if you dont, and are making more power than stock, you will still hop with the prothanes! if your going to lower it and not use coilovers then go with the hotchkis springs. cheapest and by far the best springs on the market for the srt4

If yuo don't use true coilovers to lower your car, you are also going to experience a rougher ride. The neon does not have a great deal of suspension travel to begin with and you are going to lessen it.

one of the real reasons you go with a real coilover. a good quality CO will have a shorter shock allowing for more travel while lowering the car at the same time! the srt's do well with a mild lowering kit on them AS LONG AS YOU DONT USE THE EIBACHS!!! go hotchkis or go home

tiens are ok. actually they are pretty good, but the KW v2 or even the v3s are WAY BETTER!!!! almost the best on the market. quality is far superior to the tiens, and they have a lifetime warranty

KW v2 or even the v3s are WAY BETTER!!!!KW are very very nice...I have a friend who has them on his neon and they are the only way I would lower my car, but the $1200 price tag for my neon scares me :) ...They run about $1190 for the Mopar by KW Stage 2 (http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/srt4_index.shtml) and about $1350 for the Mopar by KW Stage 3 (http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/mopar_kw.shtml). Definitely worth it, IMO.

hey i'm looking at just getting springs for my car. I want to get rid of it looking so high up in the back and also want a moderate lowering of the car without a stiffer ride. What springs should i get. Should i get, mopar? Thanks.

mopars are a waste of your money, both on springs and coilovers. if you have a neon (sxt or se) then go with the eibach springs. they are perfect for you. the srt's should roll on the hotchkis, i promise you will be happy.

when it comes to coilovers. dont waste your money going through dodge. go straight through KW! they can be had V1 (mopar stage2) for $1100 or V2 (mopar stage3) for $1400 or V3 (dampning and rebound adjustable) for $2000. the spring rates are better, and should actually balance the car better. plus you can pick them up through your local speed shop. anyone who can purchase beltech suspension products can also get KW. if they tell you no, have them call their supplier (i had to do that at my shop, my supplier didnt even know, so i had them call beltech themselves!). i am going to be upgrading to the V3's, from my mopar v3 (kw v2). i want that extra level of adjustment!!!

mopars are a waste of your money, both on springs and coiloversOn a first gen neon, Mopars High rates are a very good buy. They lower the car about 1.5" and give the car a stiifer ride w/o losing too much of the comfort. I don't know about 2000 and up, but for the first gen, they are a nice purchase.
