Slow power windows

Should be easy... 00 Jetta VR6, 197,000 miles, mt.

My power windows (most often the driver's window) go up VERY slowly sometimes. Not always, and in all different temps (or as many different temperatures as there are in SoCal). They go down like they should, but up is sometimes a sloooow process. I'm thinking maybe it's the switches in the driver's door?

the guide rails are problably dry and cracked.. try putting on some silglyde (stuff they use for caliper guides on brakes) If not than problably needs a new motor..
