Coolant in cyliner and vacume lines questiongator2764 11-07-2005, 09:27 AM Here is my problem, hope someone can help. Just replaced the head gasket yesterday (engine rebuild 9K ago) and now I have water in all of the cylinders and vacume lines. These are being filled at a rather fast rate. Does it sound like the lines on the bottom of the intake have been put on wrong? There are at least 4 lines and they are all the same size. I know 2 are for the coolant lines and the other are vacume lines. Anyone ever run into this? Thanks, Gator. 97cavalier 11-07-2005, 10:51 PM Here is my problem, hope someone can help. Ya just switch the lines around till there is no water. But mark the lines where they are now just in case that is not the problem so you know where they were. gator2764 11-08-2005, 06:27 AM Mechanic called last night and said that he did hook up the lines wrong. Thanks for the reply. uti-student 02-09-2006, 01:01 AM dumb ass mech. fire him gator2764 02-09-2006, 07:13 AM dumb ass mech. fire him Can't fire him, he did the rebuild for nothing. Actually a very good master mechanic, just doesn't work on yotas, he works on mopar crap. He says there is not enough money in toyotas but plenty in mopar junk!!! Accidents happen when all of the lines are the same size. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
