what else but cv axle????

K, so my wonderful boyfriend has replaced my axle shaft, did the other one about a month ago. Wheel bearings also went due to my procastination, and both front have been replaced. So, I go to Timmies today, thinking everythings good, and SUPRISE...still clicking when I turn.
What else could this be? Stupid car also gets real sloppy in it's ability to drive straight without my help after a few days (did last time anyhow). So if anyone else knows what else could possibly sound like the cv could you tell me??? Something in the tranny or? I'm getting afraid to drive the car anymore. It's got 270,000 kms on it, so if it is the tranny it's going to the junkyard. Please help, and any ideas would be helpful! Thanks

Universals? I don't think I have them. Isn't that what my cv axle does?
