Timing Problem? '89 S-10Frost_Ice 11-06-2005, 06:19 PM I lost the label under the hood and I don't know the correct timing, for an '89 s-10 4.3L TBI. Wait you asked if its uner the hood...where? maybe i can check 4 u Sara_Gurl21 12-09-2005, 05:10 PM Hey I had the same issue with my blazer the manual for the truck says that the timing is suppose to be set at 12% but in fact its acctually suppose to be set a 8% because at 12% you will flood the engine but this is also on a 2.8L engine i don't know what size yours is. But i hope that helps you. MT-2500 12-09-2005, 06:56 PM It sets at 0 degrees TDC with the set timming connector under heater core/glove box unpluged.
