Eclipse 5435?

Will the stock speakers in a 2000 Impala ls work with the eclispe 5435 head unit? I want to replace the stock deck and add a Kicker l7 12" sub to give my music more bass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Eclipse 5435?

they will but removing the stock deck will take away your ability to control some of your vehicals functions like Oil change reset, chimes, and security features you can buy a relocation cable to move the stock deck and when replacing the deck and using the factory speakers be sure to remember that deck is pushing a lot more power then your factory deck and you stand a chance of over powering the speakers then you will need to change them
