Porsche 914 HELP

Hello anyone -- everyone,

Blonde seeks help locating the voltage regulator on a 1972 Porsche 914.

The theory is this part needs replacing and for the life of me I cannot locate the part in Haynes. Does it have another name or am I more blind than I think?

Thanks Loads

Re: Porsche 914 HELP

well by now youve probably found the part but if you havent, its a tiny box, usually has a silver-gunmetal cap on it with a green box. its located on the "computer". if you pull the computer cap off, the box stays, you cant miss it. also its right next to the alternator plug in on the circuit board. hope this helps
