V70 XC Towed for about 1 block

My 2002 v70 was towed for about 1 block with the two rear wheels down. I managed to catch the truck before he went further. My question is the same as what YukonSLT00 had asked. How much damaged has this caused my car? Everything seems to be ok for now. In the manual, it specifically says not to tow the car this way because it will damage the viscous coupling. One would think these towing companies would know that, but they don't care. Can they be liable if they damage your car?

YukonSLT00, please let me know if you had any further problems related to this. Thanks.
