I used to own one. 1984 Toyota Cressida to be exact. It was one of my first cars. God I loved that thing, it was fast and powerful. I raced it like everyday. I haven't noticed many Cressida members here, but if you know of any, mention this forum to them and have them join you and the rest of the AF neighborhood.

What makes it so powerful in the terms that I used it in, was the fact that as I was concerned, it hauled ass when it needed to.
Other than that, it is not a "powerful" car by todays standards.:finger:

Wassup dude, I am a proud owner of a 1988 Cressida Baby. Only 72.000 miles, this car whips any other 80's car ass. Power to the CRESSIDA!:flash: :o

"this car whips any other 80's car ass." excuse me for a sec. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. i have a cocky ass kid that lives by me. he though the same way as you did. hahaha notice i said he did . that was until i killed him in my mr2 wich is pretty much all stock save for the exhaust. and it is an 87. hahah i would love to see more cressida drivers on the road so that way i can kick there ass then shift to second and drive away to find another loser in a sedan so i can put him in his place.

I have an 86 Cressida. Yup it's slow as hell. But what he should have said was that it is one of the quicker 80's sedan's. It's is no way fast. And your 87 MR2 is slow by todays standards. And when you like to kick sedan's asses go and find a STi or and Evo, not a grandpa's car, it's sad that you get amusement out of beating up on a family car designed 20 years ago.

Re: No Cressida Forum :(
Cressida was sold in Japan and other markets as the Mark II. Try that forum.
