Dominic240 10-27-2005, 05:42 PM Something is wrong with ignition switch. 89ltd 10-27-2005, 09:01 PM probably not the ignition switch, read this thread and you will find you answer. Let us know how you make out. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=470684 Gabewatt 10-28-2005, 12:50 AM thanks ill try that as soon as i can. Gabewatt 11-01-2005, 12:35 PM i put in all new relays, and still no luck. it only fires when i pump the gas while im holding the key in the start pos. so im going to try to change out the ignition switch. could the fuel pump be bad? all the help you guys have given so far is very welcome so please keep it coming if you can. 89ltd 11-01-2005, 03:30 PM did you check the white resistor??? for the fuel pump? Gabewatt 11-01-2005, 08:03 PM ill try that. by resistor do you mean the relay? cause if so they are all new. 89ltd 11-02-2005, 05:07 AM there is a sqare white ceramic resistor on the drivers side fender. It has two wires on it and its there to cut noise down for the fuel pump but is not really needed. Most people who have problems with it unplug the two wires and hook them up together. Gabewatt 11-09-2005, 09:45 PM ok so i tried all the things that everyone told me to and i ended up rewiring the ignition system and now she works just fine, i had a break in a wire in the system, i found it after i yanked all the wires. thanks guys.
