I have a 2000 neon, & the check engine light is on, the code reads "0172", which means, a lean air/fuel mixture has been indicated by an abnormally rich correction factor. How xan I get rid of that, dont even have a clue of what thats suppose to mean. In advance, Thanks.

Do you have any mods done to your car? I have heard of people getting this code with a crane cam. They often install an SAFC2 to try and help the problem. Don't know if it helped or not. If you just recently filled up, you could have just gotten some bad gas.

Maybe, sometimes it goes away when I get a full tank, this time its been their for awhile, I dohave some Mod's, but nothing that can cause that problem, from what I think.
