Angry 1997 S-10 Idles Rough

I Have Had Numerous Codes Come Up On This Truck. Now It Is Reading That The 4th Cylinder Is Mis-firing. I Now Have Power At Start Off And Thru All 5 Gears, But It Idles Rough

hey there i have a 1997 s-10 blazer with a 4.3 my service engine soon light came on and it said #4 missfire as well. I had a injector installed and it still came back on with a # 4 missfire. the engine does idles rough but on the open road its not noticeable . did you ever find out what was wrong with yours? thanks Brian

I had a similar problem. I have rough idle when my air conditioner is on. Anyway! I pulled into McDonalds and my windows were fogged up/ I had my climate control on top vent. When I changed it from that setting to defrost my RPMs picked up, idle was much smoother. I know I now have a defective switch and need to make sure that when I turn of the air the compressor is disengaging. Weird thing about that was there was not cold air coming out of vents.
