Rear View Mirror Vibration
Well, i have a 2002 Cavalier LS Coupe, and the only thing that really bothers me (virbrating wise) with my subs on is the rear view mirror(mirror has 2 lights in it). I was just curious if any1 knows how to stop the mirror from making the virbating noise. Any help is appreciated.

Get rid of the sub. 
If you want an easily adjustable mirror, you 'll probably have to live with it.

are you sure its the mirror making the vibrating noise???? if you subs are powerful enough to make your mirror vibrate, i'd bet the vibrating noise is coming from somewhere else,
the only 2 ways to stop your mirror from vibrating though are A, get rid of the sub, or B, get rid of the mirror, oh yeah, and C, just never use the subs

I like the subs, and yes it is the mirror, cuase if i hold it and the noise stops. Thanks for the help.

alright, im not sure about my cavalier but on my old car there was a little metal piece that was basically glued to the windshiled, then you slid the mirror onto that metal piece and tightened a screw to make the mirror stay, if the cavaliers are like that then you might just wanna make sure that screw is nice and tight, and if it is, try pulling the mirror off, then go to an auto parts store and they have glue speically disigned for rearview mirrors (its made for sticking metal to glass, or whatever the windshield is made out of) and try regluing it back on, if that dont work then i'd guess its something inside the mirror (like the lights)

I beleive his problem is not that the mirror-to-windshield is loose, but rather the mirror's "ball joint" as just a little bit of freeplay so it vibrates. Back when I had a sub installed in my previous cars, the rear view mirror would always shake. With my old Camaro the side mirrors would also shake. I just learned to live with it. I suppose you could try to find a mirror that had stiffer joints.
