Red face axles, tranny problem needs assistant??

Hey I got a problem with my 95 dodge neon auto..When I start my car up and try to put or reverse ..sometimes it get stuck and had to like force it in just to get it reverse. Then when I put it on drive ..almost all the time when it shifted to gear my front driver side tire or axles or whatever jerked like stumble (vibrates) and then drives smoothly after. So can anybody tell me whats the problems ..Is it my transmission is bad my axles???? any help would be appreciated.

Re: axles, tranny problem needs assistant??

I don't know about the axles going bad on you, but here are some things to check on your tranny:
1)Fluid level and fluid type (should be Mopar ATF+3 or 4, NO DEXRON)
2)Throttle cable/linkage
3)Kickdown and Reverse Band (may need to be adjusted)
