Fuel Gauge

Hey all I just leveled my truck by installing Ford keys last week and I've got a buddy that wants to do it as well and he brought up a question. Will leveling the truck affect the fuel gauge in any way? It kind of makes sense in a logical way since the tank is sitting at a slant in the stock position and by leveling the truck you're also changing the angle that the tank sits at. He claims that he has "known people" that have run out of gas with the gauge sitting at 1/4 tank because they leveled their truck and the gauge read so different. I haven't run through a tank of gas yet in mine so I can't answer his question, but I know most everyone here would know. Any thoughts? What should I tell him? I've already told him that the angle isn't so drastic that it shouldn't make any difference, but he's kind of dense (he's an AO Jers99z lol).
