My car didn't pass the Smog Check/California. The guy gave me a pamphlet so i can just cube the car with 1k. i have a cressida that's fine but it's just that gas is just too expensive, i plan on driving the camry so i can save money... anyone know how i can fix this problem so it can pass the smog check?

No we can't help you... You didn't tell us what was wrong with it. You just said it didn't pass the smog check. What is out of spec on the test, what - if any malfunctions, or broken parts were noted.

Tell us what the problem is & we'll be glad to help you!

my dad thinks it's the thing that looks kinda like a saucer, you put in like 2-3 hoses. it's located on top of the engine. well.. i don't know what it's called. we've tried a few other "saucers" but it still doesn't work. and it would always have whtie smoke coming out everytime i start up. but mostly in the morning is when most of it comes out.

It would be more descriptive if you told us what the results were on the emissions test and the requirements for repair on the results sheet.

I believe most of the camry at that age has EGR problem. I tried to clean it but I still can't pass the smog test, so I bought a new one from dealer for $17x.xx, then I pass the test. Still cheaper than the shop asking for $300 to fix the problem.
