Smile lights in air vents

hey, sup. I was chillin at my friends the other day an we were thinking of shit to do to my hatch that would be free mods. And i had these lil blue lights on the interior an he had the idea to move it into the vents. He wired it behind the dash an into the 2 far air vents. it looks so tiite at night when the vents glow blue. i never have seen this on a car (its probley been done) so to me it looks nice and original. dont yell at me if someone else has done it already (please).

My friend got those stupid strobe lights, and wired them in behind his vents... That looked sweet I must say.

As far as wiring, most of those lights are the common automotive 12v. You just hook + to + and - to ground. You should probably throw a switch in there or just tap into the parking lights for the +12v so they come on only when your parking lights are on. Switch would be better in case you want to turn them off at night w/o turning off your headlights.

BUT WHERE DO YOU RUN THE WIRES?!? Through the AC ports? You can't run them over your dash.

you should try running the wires under the dash to the radio and splice them in there so they only come on when the cars on.
