Power Steering Pump

My power steering pump started making a strange noise a few weeks ago, so I replaced it, myself!

I followed the procedure in the Haynes manual for bleeding the air out (turning the steering wheel from left to right without hitting the stops), but I am not sure if it worked? Here's why:

When the Jeep is cold & I start it up, the power steering is fine! However, after driving for about 15-20 minutes, the steering becomes tight when turning the wheels while stopped (or when trying to park)!

The steering is fine as long as the Jeep is moving, but if I am at a red light for instance, & I turn the wheel either way, it is harder than it should be, & it makes a noise as if the steering wheel has been turned all the way, even though it has not!

Can anyone give me a break down or some tricks of the trade on how to properly bleed the air out? Any suggestions in general?
