Hey Guys! Who wants some D in .......
ENGLISH??? Hey just wanted to share this with you guys, ran across this about a week ago. Before I posted I wanted to see how it is, and if it ever came. But Yea check out the link, InitialD Vol1 200pg in English!!
Oh and yea its the exact same as the Japanese version sold in Japan (besides the cover), it even reads right to left! All that is avaliable now is vol1 but the plans are to do the entire series (1-23+)
I compared it to my "JDM" D vol 1 and its the exact same, right down to what they say and everything!
Enjoy!

There is a little lost in the traslation, but its not major.
But yea, this is really cool! In fact it helps me study Japanese, I can read the japanese version and see if I understand it right!

This was kind of a bummer. A 200page book, but it doesn't even get to the first battle between Keisuke and Takumi, you shouldn't have to spend another $10 to find out the ending. But the manga did give the characters more of a sense of personality. The dialog was much more natural and believable, much better than the subtitles on the DVD's. All in all, I think it's a good little book/manga and worthy of purchase for those hardcore Initial D fans such as myself.

that's the way most mangas are - if you want a complete story buy Calvin & Hobbes ( too) - Dragonball always stops at the most gorgeous storypoint!:bandit:

That the way the Japanese manga ends. The book you bought is an exact replica of the version sold in Japan, aside from the engish and different front and back covers. I know cuz I have both.
